Bill Simmons made a great point in his most recent column on ESPN.com...

What kind of odds could you have gotten in Vegas a few years ago that Matt Cassel would end up being the single best NFL quarterback to ever have played at USC?

I mean, Leinart and Palmer had both won Heisman trophies and Sanchez was considered a sure-fire star-to-be, while Cassel wasn't even the starter at any point in his college career. And USC's history is not exactly littered with good NFL QBs. Todd Marinovich, anyone? :lulz:
No shit, huh?  :lulz:

Meanwhile we have 9 wins so far. Wow! 2 games left and we just might win the division. WTF?!?

Miami is now out of the play-offs. Jax could be in trouble. Jets have crashed. I am in a hated position of having to cheer for Denver over the Raiders. The Giants lost to Philly. The Saints may have just handed the division to Atlanta. Detroit wins over Tampa throwing the NFC out of whack.

I need a drink. :lulz:

Jets are leading Pittsburgh right now 20-17. And don't worry, even if the Raiders win they're still no threat to win the AFC West. Chiefs just need to win out, though they definitely have a tougher schedule than the Chargers.

Some yahoo yelled at me, saying 'GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH', and I thought, "I'm feeling generous today.  Why not BOTH?"

And once again, My Big Black Vick is leading me to fantasy league glory. My strategy all year has been very simple: Michael Vick and whichever defense is playing against Carolina. My only concern now is that Philly might rest Vick if they clinch the division and lock in their playoff seed before the last game. Luckily, I have Aaron Rodgers as my backup, who is the 2nd highest scoring QB in fantasy football this year after Vick. And Green Bay is gonna be fighting for a wild card spot right up to the last minute.

Last nights loss didn't help GB at all. They better hope Rodgers is back next week. Orton may be in trouble in Denver as well as Tebow played.

So... The next two games are the Bills and the Dolphins, and we've also clinched the playoffs?

See you at the superbowl, suckers.

I hope NE makes it to the Superbowl for no other reason than so I can relish watching the Eagles get revenge on them and watching Michael Vick prove once and for all that HE is the MVP this year.

I'm also amused that in a league of rapists, murderes and dog killers, a guy with long hair and who fucks a supermodel is somehow a disreputable character.

In descending order of vileness:

Dog Killer

Murderer

Rapist

Guy who models Ugg Boots for men.

Chicago is the first team to clinch their division. The world really is going to end.

Chiefs win the division!  :D

In other news, it just dropped below 32° in Hades.

But, since they have Cassel and Vrabel, I can't say I'm not surprised.
