Remember when the NFL had funny commercials that weren't just Peyton Manning? I mean, even Peyton doesn't do a lot anymore.

Tampa Bay finishes 10-6 and doesn't make it into the playoffs.

Jesus Christ. What a fucking season!

On the other hand...Seattle at 7-9 is in.

Yeah, explain THAT one.

Misses being in the NFC Central.

We won our division.

You finished 3rd in yours. And generally, it's considered poor form to complain about being left out of the playoffs after being beaten by the Lions. :lulz:

Doesn't say much for your division, now does it? Atlanta and NOLA will fucking anything this year. Well, except maybe Philly.

And the Pats lost to Cleveland, horribly, and still made it in the playoffs with Brady's hair and ass plugged. YOUR POINT IS...?!

Clearly the AFC is filled with inferior competition this year.

Pats would have gone 8-8 in the NFC East.

Super Bowl wins;

The AFC is always inferior.

NFC - 22
AFC - 20

That sounds pretty even.

Pro bowl wins;

NFC - 20
AFC - 19

That sounds pretty even.

It's not like there's a huge difference anyway, like a strike zone or DH rules.

Super Bowl wins aren't necessarily an indicator of conference dominance. Doesn't take into account years where one team in that conference was dominant and all the others were mediocre or worse and that one team won the superbowl. Also doesn't account for the fact that a good team in a weaker conference will have a generally easier time reaching the super bowl in the first place. If anything, there might be an inverse correlation between which conference was better overall and which produced the team that won the super bowl.

Pro Bowl is the most useless and disappointing "all star" game in all of pro sports INCLUDING the WNBA. Should be abolished or played during Preseason of the next season with the winning conference gaining home field advantage in the Super Bowl. Cannot currently be used as an indicator of anything aside from which players are not hurt, have shoe or video game endorsements, and/or had nothing better to do than spend a week in Hawaii.

As far as I can tell, there is only one team this year with a 14-2 record and a +205 point differential, 8-0 at home with an 8 game winning streak.

Yeah, I think the Pats are going to mow through the competition.  No stupid "perfect season" to worry about.  Just get there, bear down, and take em out, one at a time.

The Patriots are proof that no matter how many games you win, you can still blow it in the Super Bowl.

Seahens will win Superbowl just to piss ECH off about them blowing a good draft choice.  :lulz:
