Ok, so where's this damn inn, anyway?

It's in Spagmar, the capital.

In other news, I love the mines!

Eater of Clowns

I just popped all of my abilities and killed the Green Dragon without losing a single hit point.   :lulz:

EoC, you are the bane of my existence.

EoC doesn't make creepy.

EoC makes creepy worse.

I thought the game ended when the dragon was killed.

Or was that LoRD?

Because that was supposed to be the whole point of PvP, to stop your rivals before they had a chance to win.

AFAIK, the game starts over for you when you kill the dragon.

In the version I remember, the game kept going indefinitely, like LOGD.
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

Cramulus

yeah in the old LORD game that LOGD is based on, after somebody killed the dragon, the game would reset and everybody would go back to level 1. It was kind of frustrating - you'd play 4 or 6 days and then some obsessive spag would hit the reset switch.

In LOGD when you kill the dragon, you get a Dragon Kill point and you alone go back to level 1. You can spend that DK point to get a permanent +1 to attack, +1 defense, +5 hit points, or +1 forest fight per day. You also get a new title. At 1 DK your title is randomly either "goon" or "hipster".

Each DK you rack up unlocks more stuff in the game. More races and specialties will be unlocked on each successive DK until like 10 or so. New ones continue to get unlocked beyond 40 DKs. You'll also find yourself fighting multiple opponents. The game throws curveballs at you to keep it fresh. I'll also be creating cool mounts, companions, and stuff like that which you can only access at higher DKs.

I'm really enjoying this.  Thanks for setting it up/hosting.

Likewise

Though I seem to suck at it today.  Got killed off pretty quick.

WHO

       is Freida?

AND WHY

does she keep trying to kill me?

This is the sixth time you've failed, Freida. I didn't think you'd try again after I realised it was a good idea to log out in the Tavern.
But you had to step...
Be what you would seem to be - or, if you'd like it put more simply - never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.

AFK

Hmm, it appears I accidentally made myself a female.  I don't suppose there is an easy way to change that?  Then again, I am a dwarf, so I suppose there isn't much of a difference.

Easy to fix~! I just performed a sex change operation on you, check your pants for details.
