I've been here almost-  well, altogether too long, and I still feel this way a lot of the time.  But I'm pretty sure most everyone feels like this most of the time, so I generally pretend I don't experience it.  It's so effective that people act as if I belong here.

In my 7 months here, everything I've read of yours here, has had a gravitas disproportionate to it's actual volume. For short seemingly unrelated pieces, they make me feel like I've just read a whole novel, instead of a few paragraphs. The simple, understated use of language, and superbly focused perspective belies it's ability to pull you into the narrative. So you've become one of my favourite writers. And from a purely selfish viewpoint, I hope you'll still post something here from time to time. Because really, it's better than good. So thanks for the ride.
