One thing though, when he says he wants the president to give a speech and announce he will get rid of "this bought congress", I immediately thought "well, yeah ... too bad that you got a bought president, too ...".

Just think about it, this guy rants on MSNBC, he straight-out calls the US government corrupt, the entire banking system corrupt, and nobody questions these statements, none of them even tries to deny they are corrupt, all they can bring against his rant is "well then what is your solution, then?" -- imagine, someone saying this, two years ago, ten years ago?

And the thing about his "solution", it doesn't matter. I dunno what the deal is with that 2% interest plan. It doesn't matter. the main part of his solution is getting rid of all that corruption. it doesn't even matter what exactly you do then. Currently, every single move your government makes, every finger they lift, every bill they pass does not happen without America bleeding millions of dollars to political sponsors. So if you put a stop to that, it hardly matters what you actually do, if the result will be better than the most well-intentioned plan executed in this corrupt environment. That 2% interest loan idea could fail grandiosely and the US will still come out on top compared to the current situation.

Good points, especially about how everyone seems to agree and can talk about it these days.

But I think people are too busy, drugged, and/or stupid to even attempt to take money out of politics in any meaningful way.
