TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

This is fucking MIND-BLOWING. HOLY SHIT.

I saw that once before, and finally decided there was some kind of "camera trick" going on. I'm thinking either selective frame dropping in post edit , or he performed that at a much slower speed, and sped it up in post.

It's smooth, but I can tell some kind of video magic is going on. Still, it is impressive.

You would be wrong about that, sir.

Triple Zero

This one is bloody amazing:

http://vimeo.com/34949864

This guy starts with a transparent PNG image loads it into a "find similar image" search engine and keeps feeding the result back in, each iteration a frame in this animation.

If an image has already been seen, his algorithm picks the next highest ranking image.

It's interesting to see how it "settles" on a bunch of famous (and less famous) images, you see them changing subtly until it runs out of near-duplicates and wanders randomly to a new local minimum.

Also, for some reason it's extra impressive because the first plateau it heads off to is galaxies and space images, followed by city night sky scapes.

Well worth the four minutes of staring at randomness, IMO :)

That hurt my brain. So very much.
I couldn't stop wondering why they would have the uniforms, bridge and exterior of the orignial, the shuttlepod from the movie and the corridors and transporter room from next gen.

Wow, this Gotye band makes some really interesting videos.  Even the normal looking one feels more like a bad fever dream than a music video.

I have a ticket for Gotye at the Crystal on April 11, I am so stoked! I love "Somebody that I used to know" so much.
