Oh, yeah.  This is what I have to look forward to later this month, only our dogs are both simple and neurotic (comparatively, one is a bit simpler and the other is a bit neurotic-er), and we're only moving 30 minutes away.  They will both be following us around acting like the world is ending when we pack.

Our neurotic dog's approach to solving problems is similar to the cartoon's simple dog, except she has a step 5 where she eventually gives up on the whining and craps somewhere on the carpet where she knows someone will walk.
