Trickle Down economics is perhaps the biggest turd ever polished and put on a plate. Its almost beautiful the way that he convinced millions of lower middle class jesus freaks that giving the rich MORE money would somehow help them in the long run.

Reagan raised taxes anyway.  He had Greenspan raise Social Security contributions as a stealth tax, and the government borrowed the money from itself to fund, well, Pentagon spending and stuff.

He was the one who took the deficit to such lofty levels!  And he GREW the government--all he did was slash the fucking funding for the poor, which he claimed were poor because they WANTED to be.

I just can't believe he's portrayed as this kindly father-type who is this bastion of Conservative BRILLIANT fucking thinking.  HE SUCKED when it came to the welfare and benefitting of the populace at large.  He only wanted to give the money to the rich and starve the poor.

Yep.  He also stated agreement with Antonin Scalia on some SCOTUS case during the campaign.  I'm pretty sure it involved guns.
