I do sell to Japanese buyers, and in fact one of my founding patrons is in Japan, but mostly it's that Americans went into crisis-guilt mode and are sitting tight. It'll ease up in a couple of weeks but people clamp down on money when there's a disaster, even if it doesn't affect them. It's just the way it is.
