Suu. Seriously. Quit this all, but don't ditch you education. You're pissed and tired of jumping through hoops and just want out, which means that puts you exactly where I was, 2 years ago. Don't sell yourself short, don't give up and don't think you could be happy doing food service for the rest of your life, bar or restaurant or whatever. Some people can do that and love it. Straight forward and simple.  It works.  I walked off campus more times than you can imagine ready to just go home and say "fuck it".  Shit happens, jobs are lost, funding disappears, there's a hole in your sock, you just have to pull yourself up and keep on going.  You have a goal, stick to it. 

Life sucks, for all of us.  I hate you are having to go thru this, but in the long run you'll appreciate the effort you put into it.

Or you can walk off and say "fuck it".  Put the blame everywhere except where it belongs, which is life.  Life is going to kick your ass whether your tending bar or living your dream.  The only difference is the quality of alcohol and friends.  You have friends now who love you and will stand by you.  I understand the desire to go home.  It's natural.  But I also have read many many times how your family makes you insane.  You're forgetting that right now.  Don't. 

Find a crappy job for the summer if you have to and do what you have to do.  You are damn lucky.  Make the most of that!
