The ease of the procedure has absolutely nothing to do with it. The new procedure for women is non-surgical, non-invasive, and is also an outpatient procedure. It's that doctors won't sterilize young women who don't have kids, but have no problems sterilizing men in the same situation. It's a pretty fucked up double standard.

It makes NO sense.  Reversible sterilization regardless of gender should be a basic right, and it should be a free procedure that would be recommended to people until they WANTED kids.
