OK, I'm not Stella here, but I'm Stella or Stelz everywhere else and people still know me as Stella here and call me Stella.

I didn't have it in for Yatto prior to this. I didn't even know Mah Fnord WAS Yatto, I only found out when Roger told me after the fact. He was just somebody posting on facebook, I didn't have any crap feelings towards him. At worst he used to poke a lot, which would occasion an eyeroll at times but no vendetta. People have done a lot worse than excessive friendly poking.

Again, from my perspective it looked like he was the one who porn spammed Liam, due to his complaining about being banned from here, the poop comment, and the timing of the porn spamming. Op Safe Kids is a non event to me. I didn't even see the porn there, my kids are old enough that clicking it would be complete non-issue anyway, and although I apparently 'liked' the page at some point, I'm guessing it was because some other friend asked me to, maybe it was something to do with the cartoon character profile pics, I don't even remember.

I don't see any sense in jumping Khara. Granted it won't kill a kid to see that stuff, but if it was kiddie porn, I'd have reported the shit, even if I was the only one who saw it. Fuck pedos. Them and the FBI deserve each other.

I've always been able to delete my pm's on facebook. If deleted pm's are archived someplace, I've never seen them. I don't doubt that facebook keeps everything, you can kill your whole account and go back months later and reactivate it and everything will come right back up. But that just shows that Zucky & co. have things stashed, not that Khara would be able to recover a deleted pm.

I apologized to Yatto because there wasn't anything but circumstantial evidence. Nobody can prove he did or didn't have a hand in any of this. The apology wasn't because I'm convinced he's innocent, it's because I'm no longer totally convinced he's guilty. If I don't know for sure, I'm not going to hang it on him.

Correction: I just went and looked at my facebook pm's on the laptop and tried to delete one and as of now, you can't, it really does go to an archive box. I DOn't know when this started but Nigel is correct, there doesn't seem to be a way to delete them on the computer, even from the archive box.

HOWEVER, I went on with the mobile phone and the mobile version still has the 'delete' option. I successfuly deleted a pm that way and it did NOT go to the archive box.

I've been following this ever since the original  yatto vs roger & cain copyright dispute, and as the drama seems to be spilling over into the general atmosphere of  PD,  as an uninvolved non-partisan observer to all this, I feel it's not innappropriate to state my own take on this all. Yatto behaved like a dick over the original copyright thing, no-one is denying that. But apologies have been offered, and accepted. That is as it should be. Done and dusted.

As for the other stuff,  it's getting out of hand.  So there was some porn spamming by parties unknown. Yatto gets blamed, and has taken no end of shit over it.
If he did send those links out to porn pictures, (which apparently is a crime in the US)  then the Feds would have jumped all over him. The fact that they haven't,
should be enough to at least give him the benefit of the doubt. Added to the testimony of other users who know him IRL, who have said how out of character it sounds,  should give everyone a perfect chance to just let it fucking drop!

There's Khara, who was understandably upset at getting her kid exposed to whatever smut got sent out  feeling now that she is the one under attack. And that isn't good. (And she has ALREADY said stated her reluctance to have to go over it all again in post#168 and her acceptance that although there is no evidence either way, it probably wasn't down to Yatto)  Yes, it was HER kid who saw the porn.  But that's not the issue here. No-one (I hope) is saying Khara isn't being truthful, just that it was unlikely to have been Yatto that sent it out.

And, there's Yatto, who having just been let back on the boards, and having  (quite rightly) offered his sincere apologies for being a dick, (which have been accepted) is now having to defend himself against charges, that have no evidence to say that is was even him.  It's a big puddle of shit.  It's a pointless argument, that is getting fucking nowhere. 
I not going to speculate on the reasons Fuck you one eye made the decision to unban him, (plus I think he stated them ITT #99 & #100) but I'm pretty sure it wasn't just to watch him get torn to bits over this facebook shit, that until this morning, at least was a minor issue, that was pretty much dying the death it richly deserves. These are bones not worth picking over, and (I hope, anyway) we all have better things to do.

I have no doubt that she saw what she saw and I also am fairly certain that Yatto didn't maliciously spam anybody with porn. I don't see those two things as being mutually exclusive.

I also understand why Khara is so pissed given that her kids were involved, inadvertently or not, and I don't see much sense in trying to convince her that she shouldn't feel that way. I know I'd probably feel similarly if I were in her shoes.

And I also agree with BadBeast. There's really not much point to rehashing this since we'll never know for certain exactly what happened and since it had nothing to do with yatto's banning and unbanning.

It certainly wouldn't break my heart if Dok wants this stuff split out into its own thread so as not to obscure the original awesomeness ITT.

They don't even make a pretense of deleting them. When you hit the x next to a message, it archives it, and you can see all your archived messages since forever by clicking the magnifying glass next to the "search messages" box at the top left of the message screen, and selecting "archived messages" from the drop-down menu.

Since this seems to be an issue, yes you can delete messages on Facebook. If you do it from your inbox, clicking the x will archive it. But if you go into the message itself you can delete it. If needed I will make a screen shot to demonstrate.

Maybe it's time for me to take a few days off from PD again. I can't help it, a friend of mine gets attacked (Khara) and I flip. I always will.
