I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS
BUT IT NOT ONLY MADE ME WANT TO START THIS THREAD, IT MADE ME DO IT IN
ALL CAPS USING TEXT SIZE TO PUT EVEN GREATER EMPHASIS ON THE PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED "ALL CAPS"

rong, I want you to pretend you're not you for a moment, and see if this makes any sense, or is in anyway not annoying.

You even start off the thread saying, in caps mind you which automatically means whatever it says is garbage, that you don't know what it means.

I think I want to take this opportunity to point out that I'm not Welsh. Also that my European ancestors don't even have a cuisine at all.

Psst... Hey Nigel.... There's no shame in being Welsh. You may be Brythonic, but you're one of us. Join with the Gaels. Only then can we form the Six Nation Confederacy and onwards to glory! We will make the world pay for speaking English! Death to the Anglophones (except us and the people we give a crap about, and the accidental non-Anglophones who learned English because they had to). DEATH!!!!!!!

I wish I had a crap thread.

No, you don't. I've gone out of my way not to make a total ass of myself here because of that.

What the hell is wrong with you, hippie?

Are you a fucking communist or something?

Or worse, a fucking Celtic Pagan?

Hmm, I recall liking a lot of yatto's posts

Re: the op, I was being as honest and truthful as I possibly could, and that's what came out.  I've had positive results using that method for song writing.

Serious question: would removing the section "USING A DIFFERENT TEXT SIZE TO ..." make the post more or less annoying?

Here's your first problem. Stop doing that.

We're not recording software. Unless you are actually using music as a medium, please try and think out as clearly as possible what you are trying to say in plain English. For example with this, something like, "hey, Alty's thread got me thinking about being the 110% percent and what that could possibly mean. What do you guys think about that? Maybe something like working hard, etc..." which would then give us something clear to work with and we could rationally tell you "hard work gets you nowhere, you have to be born into money and know the right people. The 1% may think they're doing 110%, but really, they let their money make money, rather than their hands. They don't do shit, and even if we do, it don't do shit." Now, that reads more like the beginning of an ok thread.

Yes. It would be a start. But don't forget content.

CONTENT.

Getting back to your music analogy, have you ever listened closely to a Nirvana song, thought about it and went, "man, that was one stupid junkie"? The songs themselves are good to listen to, but the lyrics are by and large meaningless. Part of what he did was chop up lines from his poetry and rearrange it into lyrics. And that's why they make absolutely no sense. Except, he could get away with that because there was guitar, bass, drums, and mumbling to distract you from that fact. You don't have that luxury here.
