Okay, Gramps, let's get a few things straight, right here and now.

1.  I am a human being.  My job title is "Maintenance Manager".  I am NOT a "caregiver".  I am not responsible for your well-being.  If you need me to get something off the top shelf at the grocery store, ask me to do it.  Do NOT order me to do it.  You will not like the response, as the box of bran flakes bounces off your fat head resting on your fat gut resting on your mobility scooter.

2.  The world has changed.  You should learn to deal with this.  Standards of politeness have changed...Young people will not usually call you "sir" or "mister" unless their job requires it.  Most importantly, society has changed to the point that you do not have any form of authority over anyone not related to you or working for you.  You will not give my kids orders.  You will not attempt to instill discipline or morality or a dress code in them.  Hell, their own grandparents aren't allowed to set the rules for them, so NEITHER ARE YOU.  Fuck off.  Go hassle your own descendents.

3.  The "Good Old Days" consisted of tuberculosis, polio, McCarthyism, the Jewish Quota, difficult and unreliable communication, rampant juvenile delinquency, wife-beating, alcoholism, casual racism and sexual harrassment, and mind-numbing conformity.  We do not wish to return to those days, so you just stay your ass up in Phoenix and keep your utopian memories to your fucking self. 

4.  Your ideas of what "patriotism" means are the reason we had two world wars and Vietnam.  Shut the fuck up, asshole, because the TRUE beauty of the American Dream is that I don't HAVE to believe the same things you believe about ANYTHING.  All that flag-waving led to a series of wars in which the troops you so valiantly (well, verbally) support died for FUCK ALL.  If you think George W Bush and Donald Rumsfeld are True American Heroes, please go eat your entire bottle of Viagra in one mouthful. Thanks.  Hell, the old people I RESPECT were out there WITH the OWS people, not sitting at home bitching about them, you stupid useless old bag of bones.  Get off my planet now, please.
