Several times a month, I will be in a store aisle reaching for something and feel a hand going up the inside of my thigh. When I turn around to find myself alone with a woman, and ask her if she would prefer me to hold still so she can get a better feel for the situation, oftentimes she will act "shocked" claiming nothing had happened, it must be somebody else...

Joke made. Offense taken. Hilarity resulted.

I know I offended the hell out of Cram yesterday.

Why wasn't that "hilarity"?

Well, that was an open attack and not an attempt at humor. I see a big difference there.

So, if I'd honked a bicycle horn and thrown a cream pie while I did it, it would be okay?

Are you deliberately being obtuse? You damn well know the difference.

Nope.  I do not.  Because I attacked a particular person, it isn't funny.  If I attack an entire race or gender, it's funny.  I don't understand that.

Bullshit, no race or gender was attacked and you know it. If there hadn't been such a over the top reaction to a dumb joke the entire thing would have gone away. In true Discordian fashion we merely reacted  to the reaction.

So, it's like when FB Discordians spammed everyone so hard they left, and they're still mocking Twid's departure a year later?  They just reacted to the reaction, and spammed even harder.

Was that funny?

And if had a reaction to a "nigger" joke, and someone got offended, would you immediately tell 10 more "nigger" jokes?

I take full responsibility for the dumb joke. But in my defence, it was just a dumb joke. 170 posts ago. If I'd known it was going to be so thoroughly dissected, I would have made sure it was funnier. And far more fucking offensive.

Yes, that seems to be the problem.  I'm not TUFF.

We should start a few threads about "muzziscum" or "mexicants" or whatnot, just to get into the swing of things.

But I still don't understand why the Cram thing wasn't funny, by these standards.  I mean, it was on him to GET TUFF, wasn't it?

All this goes way over the head of a simple preacher man.

I cant possibly think why Roger would think the completely unprovoked and uncalled for suggestion that he would ban you for disagreeing would irk him.
