TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Dick Clark died today. We can't have a new year without him, so looks like we're on schedule for the world ending this December.

Dick Clark died in 1978.  That thing they trot out every new years is a leftover animatronic prop from the movie The Black Hole.

Ah, that's where you're mistaken. Dick Clark's body failed in 1978, but his brain was transplanted into the animatronic body at that point. There was a significant mechanical failure in 2004, and despite several attempts to overhaul the system the hydraulics never worked properly after that point. This morning when they took him out of storage for his monthly fluid flushing, they discovered a leak in the feeding tank for the brain.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, the Casey Casem Bot never had any meat bits, they just used a gypsy curse to steal his voice and put it in the robot. I mean, I suppose someone could teach Casey to learn to love those less eloquent than himself, thus breaking the curse, but that doesn't seem too likely.

There's no need to worry.

The Tupac hologram was obviously just a trial run.  :horrormirth:
