FWIW, I don't believe the OP was intended as an intentional dig at Dok. I know how a punner's mind works, and similar ideas pop into my head often enough as well. However I also know that starting a thread with a title punning on another thread, usually is not appreciated by whoever wrote the original thread (regardless of whether that person is Dok or not). Exceptions are if it is a particularly stupid thread*, OR if you're very certain the person in question will take it in good humour** or possibly if the thread in question never was serious. Neither of these was the case, so I do believe it was a pretty bad call to start it (as RWHN by now must have undoubtedly realized).

I mean, it's happened before (including both parody and pun) and at least 2 out of 3 were not well-received.


* in which case it is explicitly a dig, but you're purposefully going there.

** even then, say I did that to a thread started by Cram or Twid (to randomly name some) and they put some effort in the OP, they might not be mad, but still a bit miffed about it. Understandably.
