it is NEVER TOO SOON to educate your children on the doucheyness of Edison, or the awesomeness of Tesla.

The self-satisfied hero worship struck me funny (he's clearly pro-tesla, but it's not clear just HOW anti-edison he is until the very end of the entire comic) and then I found this:

which pretty much sums up what I was thinking.
The world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.

Shouldn't you be using things like "facts" to educate your children? Because that comic is almost completely devoid of those.

Some yahoo yelled at me, saying 'GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH', and I thought, "I'm feeling generous today.  Why not BOTH?"

Elder Iptuous

then how has it passed the rigorous fact checking and peer review required to make it onto the intarnets, smart guy?!

It's NEVER OK to use hyperbole and exaggeration for comic effect, especially in the internet!

YOU CALLED???

The infographic's intent is not comedic - it's standard "our geek tribe is better than your suits tribe" tripe.

It isn't actually funny, either, so the "comic effect" argument doesn't hold a lot of water.  Given that the main character dies alone in a hotel room after speaking to imaginary laser-pidgeons, you could very well argue that it is actually a tragedy.
Q: How regularly do you hire 8th graders?
A: We have hired a number of FORMER 8th graders.

Um, it's the Oatmeal. It's a comic. I laughed.

Edison vs Tesla is sort of like picking sides between pro-wrasslers.  Just saying.
