QuoteSo, we cannot support the right to celebrate a Christian holy
day...but we can support pirat day...I guess that is because he has
pirated all of the AMERICAN funds for his devout muslim friends.

As a fake Christian, I am offended by this stupidity.

Oh shit.... gotta do the novena thing. BRB

Seriously though.

If these fuckers had the map to spiritual immortality and I knew for the fact that they had it right...

Move over Satan. God sucks, and I don't think you're unbiased enough to see how much so since you're an angel and shit.

Where's the smite? There should be some smite over there. Smeared all over it even. I mean, if you're going to kill us for buttsechs like you did in the Torah, I'm really not living in a good spot and totally not budging.

Please, please, and I don't know if I'm talking to you or St. Jude, tell me that this is multiple people and not one post.

Multiple people.

I was hoping for just the opposite.

Because then all it would take is getting this person a website - lets call it, for the sake of argument, GOPCube* - to make an instant internet classic.

*Timecube endorsed McCain last election.  Who is it backing this year?

Hell, yeah.  Just sub in "reactionary elements" and "good party member" and you're there.

If the reactionary elements were to get re-elected (they won't), we could
kiss our socialist values goodbye. This anti-Proletarian radical would finish his
decimation of our economy and destroy what is left of the country our
forefathers fought so hard to establish. The good news is that there
are still enough good party members who won't let this happen, so we
will stop the destruction with the election on Nov 6. Thanks so much
for your genuine concerns regarding my well-being, but the only
emotional issues I have are those related to the Bourgeois party of
America and people like you who can't see the light.

Fuck me.  I only made 4 edits.

I've been arguing for a long time that the Republicans are the Bolsheviks of capitalism.

Not only their rhetoric, but a lot of their political propaganda and organizing comes straight from guys like Lenin.  Which makes sense, once you have a party which stops treating politics as a bound system between opponents who can reasonably disagree on certain topics and instead as an existential struggle for mastery.  But even so, you'll see a hell of a lot more references to Gamsci and Lenin by Republican strategists than you will by Democrats, and a lot more conscious use of their methods.

That's not the only source of bizarre, totalitarian thinking that seems to motivate the party (ohai Carl Schmitt!) but it's a major one.

I suspect that is because when it comes to political organization, Bolshevism is a masterful way to get people motivated for change, without thinking to hard about the change that they're working for.

At least, I think so, but I could be wrong.  It could be that I'm just prone to being freaked out by folks who sublimate their own identity to somewhat dubious political goals and don't see the long game they're playing.

I hadn't checked out timecube for a while, and I must say, it may be bugshittier than I've ever seen it. I hope that guy lives forever, he's AMAZING.

Isnt there also a suspicious number of ex-Trotskyites in the party as well?

Some neocons are that way inclined, but not a lot of them.  Honestly I think that impression comes from Paleocon Bircher types who wanted to paint the Bush adminstration's foreign policy as some kind of gigantic Communist-Liberal Conspiracy.

And I mean the original neocons.  From back in the 1940s.  The Scoop Jackson Democrats.  That's what they're basing this on.  A small gaggle of Trotskyites turned Cold Warrior Democrats turned Republicans magically made George W Bush invade Iraq, against all conservative principle, with their Marxist liberal voodoo.
