I then learned their names from listening to the aftermath on the police scanner app. Tripp and his lady friend were both frequenters of the crackhouse I used to live across the street from. This letter appeared in my vestibule and sat atop our mailboxes for a week until I noticed the handwritten name on the front of the envelope: Isaac Tripp. Which obviously piqued my interest, so I snatched it, and voila.
