Nope.  It was his security chief.  Whom he refused to fire, and whose actions he refused to condemn.  And Rand Paul was still elected, because stomping on a woman's neck seems to be okay with the good people of Kentucky.

If you want to see the future of America, just look at Rand Paul.  HE doesn't step on your neck...His people do.  While the po'buckers cheer 'em on.

This country deserves everything it gets, and having that shitneck in the Senate is just the beginning.

When asked, he just smirked at the reporter, IIRC.  Later on, he gave some bland non-answer, which of course was immediately accepted as the last word by our glorious free press.

Yep.  I do remember that he wasn't immediately fired.

And asking for the charges to be dismissed would have led to very different results if I were the judge.  The sheer, unmitigated gall would put me up a tree.

People like him think they're the good guys, and those who oppose them are the bad guys, and they just don't understand why some people don't seem to get that.

It's true of almost every despot and authoritarian asshole in the history of mankind. Hitler, Stalin, Saddam, Bin Laden, Reagan... they all thought they were The Hero of the Story.
