Undoing the word filters changes the text back to original. Or at least, it always has. If a recent update to the software has changed that I'm unaware of it.

I haven't had that experience, but I also haven't previously erased my cache, which I have since been told will show the original text.

Still, as a matter of principle, word filters are bullshit.  They're a means of denying someone the right to speak their mind.  And though I consider RWHN, for example, to be the very epitome of the CoN, he still should have the same right to speak his mind as you or I have.  It's the sort of shit EBS & Mol do, not the sort of shit we do.  Or should do.
