TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Speaking of Civil War comparisons...

QuoteIf the prospect of "two Americas" is a problem for Mr. Griffin, it also troubles Brian S. Brown, the president of the National Organization for Marriage, a conservative advocacy group. In an interview, he vowed to "roll back gay marriage" wherever it exists, adding, "Ultimately, as Lincoln said, we can't have a country half slave and half free."

:horrormirth:

IT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE

THESE PEOPLE DON'T MAKE ANY FUCKING SENSE.

"Roll back" sounds like a WalMart ad.
These people seem to have a very limited frame of reference.

Just consider: that's guy's JOB, what he considers "productive", is trying to interfere with other people making publicly recognized lifetime commitments to one another.

THAT'S WHAT HE DOES WITH HIS TIME.

My HOA Nazi is basically the same way.  She considers her time productively spent if she can close down a back yard barbeque, or fine people for having an oil spot the size of a quarter on their driveway, for any amount of time whatsoever.

Maybe she's having a competition with the HOA Nazi around my neighborhood, who a couple of weeks ago gave me a $25 fine for not mowing my lawn WHILE I WAS MOWING MY LAWN.

And this is why I am so so happy to live in a place with no HOA.
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."
