TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

It may get voted down, or the bill it is being attached to might.  It also may not mean much, but it also might.  I'm maintaining cautious optimism.

That he got bitched out seems like a good sign.

Um.

The guy got bitched out for suggesting that the NSA not keep gathering data on citizens.

Right, that he got bitched out means that it is a credible threat.

Random Probability

Actually, it's worse for Them than just bitching him out over it.  He exposed a chink in their armor.  The People now have it in their heads that their opinion and their vote can bring down that whole house of cards.  Regular jackoffs like us can take away their toybox and they don't like it.  We've always been such nice, easily manipulated pets and now we just might be getting out of their control.  Just a little.

I'm reminded of that circus elephant being tethered with a tiny little rope.  This vote was the first sign that the elephant just realized how thin that rope really is...
