Why do you lack a sense of smell?

Not sure. Just never had a really strong sense of smell. It seems to have faded even more over the years.

This is going to sound weird, but have you ever tried Zinc supplements?

Er. I think I tried zinc once for something else but it triggered migraines. Same thing happened when I tried iron suplements for anemia.

ETA: When I get nose bleeds or a head cold, it all runs down the back of my throat. Got a door-edge smashed into the center of my face, but I don't think it affected my sense of smell at all.

Zinc deficiency can cause anosmia, and your description of how it "slowly went away" sounds typical.

Neither. I was out there with my ex (a crazy ex who did porn shoots for a living; thank god that's all over with), and we were looking for places to take photographs, including empty houses. I don't remember the town. The area was about an hour north of Atlanta or more. But it seems awfully familiar, which is creepy.

Also may want to avoid nasal sprays that contain zinc. I don't even know why those are allowed. I know that sounds contrary to what I just said about zinc supplementation, but nasal sprays containing zinc can cause you to lose your sense of smell.

Well, I'm an hour-ish north-ish of Atlanta-ish so you were probably in this area. But this part of Georgia is all the same so I dunno.

I avoid nasal sprays entirely but thank you for the warning.

My grandma and mom and her sisters are or were messed up in the head with depression type stuff so that wouldn't surprise me too greatly, if it were some sort of genetic thing.

A little further back and the trash isn't such a problem. There's crap all through the area but it's mostly just a piece of litter here or there. This subdivision is completely wired. Pumping stations, fiber drops, sewer, the whole nine yards. All it needs is houses and people. Instead, it has bugs and more bugs.











































I forgot to put the picture size back to super big. :P So I guess I'll just have to go back and do it again but get bigger pictures.
