The dirty rats I write for sold me out.

I'll try and pretend to be an algorithm of news aggregators and social media opinion run by an Ethiopian orphange on their hacked EMACs...but sadly I do have a real and verifiable (if small) IRL social media presence.

Oh shit, people from a "legitimate" news agency want to ask me "questions" about my recently published article.  Urgently, apparently.

I'm not sure what just happened.

Discuss money before discussing ANYTHING. These fucks can and will rip you off in a heartbeat if they think they've got the chance.

That would be your "out of hours consultancy rate" then.

1 hour minimum charge, charged per 15 mins after the first hour.

Rinse 'em.

FTR, I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again, but I cringe whenever I see "autistic" used as a slur or as a synonym for "socially dysfunctional" because there are some autistic people in my life that I care about.

Seriously, this is a shitty shitty week to get sick. I have a research paper due Friday, a lecture today on a very complex subject, a midterm this afternoon, and Wednesday is the lab for our formal write-up. Cannot afford to be sick.

"Hi, I really like the dress you have on sale right now, and I don't want to buy or commission one from you, but can I ask you how you made it, exactly? Like, what pattern did you use, and where did you buy it from?"

"...I drafted it myself. It's based on an 11th Century gown style called a bliaut."

"Haha, oh wow. I can't draft anything, I was just hoping you can tell me where to get a pattern."

"My brain. I have it memorized."

"Haha, lol. Wow, so like, you actually memorize how to sew dresses and stuff?"
