Seriously. On some level, I think I'm glad that we've got people testing how far they can push their claims to identity, because having ideas to reject gives us a better idea of where we stand on a matter, as a society. But at the time I don't know what impact transpoor people have on the conversation, whether they make it harder for 'legitimate' identity claims. Who is qualified to make those calls?

I think while they are able to claim any identity they feel like, if they really want to, it wont necessarily stop me from laughing at them if they take it to an extreme.  Where that extreme lies is going to vary, and I'll admit I probably wont always get it right.

However, someone who describes themselves as a queer trans pansexual white/non-white (due to a blood requirement rather similar to that the Nazi Party held to) self-diagnosed Aspergers syndome having rich sex positive vegan sociology student...well, I don't need to point out the numerous contradictions in such an identity.  Of course, you can have some conflicing identities, such as actually gay or trans Muslims (Iran is very interesting in this respect)....but to this extent means someone is cherry-picking names out of a book.

And so deserving of mockery.

Sincerity probably plays a part.  I cannot take such a list as sincere on the face of it.
