So what was good about this personal brand of Joker by Romero? Or what is it all about?
I can't deny that Phoenix did a good interpretation, but my issue with it is how the character was written. I dont think anyone cares that much and I cant find the words right now, but i find it more of a pathetic portrayal of a psychotic individual and the recounting of his narcissistic grandeur fantasies/deliriums while hes locked up in a ward.
While Ledger's interpretation was pretty good as well, but i prefer how the character was written... surely it has some psychotic tendencies as well, but its nihilistic ideological subtexts appeal to my inner edgy child more.
The fanbase of any of the variants of Joker tho, oh boy.
