Thrice stated!
You can't get out backward.  You have to go forward to go back.. better press on! - Willie Wonka, PBUH

Life can be seen as a game with no reset button, no extra lives, and if the power goes out there is no restarting.  If that's all you see life as you are not long for this world, and never will get it.

"Ayn Rand never swung a hammer in her life and had serious dominance issues" - The Fountainhead

"World domination is such an ugly phrase. I prefer to call it world optimisation."

Telarus is a nerd!   :argh!:

But yes, if he leaves again I will start executing hostages.
Quote
"Here is the story," Trump began. "I don't want to have them make a big chart. Costs too much and I am a business guy. I asked how much it costs to make a big chart. Like it matters but it matters to me, does that make sense? Two maps identical. Except the one on top was Syria. See that? The one on top was Syria in November of 2016," Trump said. "This is all ISIS. On the bottom, today, the caliphate is gone as of tonight. Pretty good. That is pretty good, right?"

I didn't realize how much I missed this stuff until it came back.

Not much worth reporting, but the fact that the new quarter started and I have another class with this prof made me remember this thread; I gave them the printed-out email. Snuck in a hail Eris at the end of my final essay (wrote about Tricksters and Chaos, it was great). Now this next class is about women warriors, lots of Amazons, Wonder Woman, all that jazz. Should be nice. I'll ask the prof before class tomorrow if they actually read the bloody email.

Also I love how you people can so seamlessly move the topic of discussion away from the original talking point, that was neat to watch here.  :lulz:
O, the Frog fell down to Tehran.
To fix the broken hourglass in the sun.
From the gates, to the city, to the market so pretty,
They'd not leave until they were done.

Said the Goddess to the Frog,
"You'd best be moving along."
So sayeth the water, the words of Anahita,
But the Frog just made themselves a bog.

And lo, they said:

"May I have your shoes, miss?
O great Water Goddess,
I've a journey that I need to start."
She responded from her knowing, wise heart.

With this, said the Goddess,
"Go now, take these shoes with."
And covered their webbed feet with glee.
"You'll do good not to disappoint me."

Thank you for completing the free trial. To view the rest of this poem, nag me about it...I might not respond by giving you the rest of it, but when has that ever stopped you?
