TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Brain cancer too. That's awful

I've always enjoyed Rush, but I've heard (before and since his passing) that a lot of Neil's writing was really good too. May have to check it out at some point soon.

Paranoia is a disease unto itself, and may I add, the person standing next to you, may not be who they appear to be, so take precaution.

If there is no order in your sexual life it may be difficult to stay with a whole skin.

Yeah, 2112 was a dead giveaway for that.  :lulz:

But unless an artist is goose-stepping around with swastikas on them, I normally don't care what an artist's politics are.  As Plato said, all artists are trouble to begin with.  And drummers are just trouble that lurk in darkness.

That being said, it requires a degree of specialness to think Ayn Rand was a "genius" or even "readable".

Interesting. Do not think I knew that. I like the band, thought he was a good drummer, but didn't follow personal/political lives that closely. Kind of makes sense with the few people that told me he was a good writer, though.

Also, when you think about it, the protagonist in "Red Barchetta" is the bad guy.

It was sorta stamped right on the cover of 2112.

Neil who?

Some Canuck.  You never heard of him because he's a drummer.
