Bigotry is abound, apprently, within these boards.  There is a level of supposed tolerance I will have no part of.  Obviously, it seems to be well-embraced here.  I have finally found something more fucked up than what I'm used to.  Congrats. - Ruby

I'm not sure where to file this document. I'm thinking along the lines of "Partisan MAGAt Media Suck Upage." But, while I'm struggling to classify this latest right-wing travesty, here it is in all of its dubious glory (WARNING: Readers may want to place a barf bag within easy reached before proceeding further.):

First Lady Melania Trump Named "Patriot of the Year"

As per this official www.whitehouse.gov statement:

""The First Lady was named "Patriot of the Year," an honor Fox Nation awards to "heroes and patriots who have shown unwavering dedication to the values that make our country great.""

Trump aide who allegedly admitted to having a "Nazi streak" moves into new role in administration

As per this article:

"Paul Ingrassia, the Trump administration official who allegedly sent a series of racist and antisemitic texts, moves into a new role as deputy general counsel at the General Services Administration after withdrawing his nomination to lead the Special Counsel office. Dana Bash and the plugged-in political reporters on "Inside Politics" discuss."

Well ... it is, after all, the Turd Reich.

I've been taking a look at conservative spaces because I'm interested to see what their opinion of the last year has been like and I've come to a realisation, they are divided on a lot of issues, critical of things like the tarrifs or this 2000 rebate they are planning.
The thing is they are willing to compromise as long as some or most of their issues are addressed.

The left with its ever tightening purity tests or moral outrage instead of criticism of their own parties never stood a chance in the last election, and it won't in the next either unless it takes a mature approach to selecting and supporting a candidate

Your perception of 'Merica's two (2) major political parties is vastly different from mine. So, I have to ask, what "conservative spaces" are you trusting to be accurate sources of information?

Truth social, r/conservative  they are all complaining about the tarrifs but saying their king is "doing well overall"

They will overlook almost any transgressions or criticise it but still give unwavering support, if they go into the next election like this it will play out the exact same as the last one

Then, perhaps you may agree with the following quotation:

"It was Bill Clinton who once pithily captured the contrast between the two parties when it came to selecting a presidential standard-bearer: "Democrats want to fall in love; Republicans just fall in line."
