TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

The End of Discordianism

This world is made from chaos, born from it, and you, goddess knows why, signed up for a chaos-based religion.

Well, now a big meaty chunk of that chaos has escaped from the neatly pencilled line you drew around it, and is contorting your reality with fresh new horrors.  And here you are getting all shocked and dismayed and running around yapping like a chihuaha that just realized it's about to be castrated.

Isn't this what you wanted?  Did you think Discordianism was just a bunch of randos goofing off, talking shit, and making lame jokes about the hotdog truck that spilled its cargo over interstate 83? Have you completely missed the point?

Forget that junk, look to the roots of things.

You're here, reading the tattered remnants of this moth-chewed forum, so you already recognize that Christianity has nothing to do with loving your neighbour, or following the Bible.  Its root is "We chose ourselves as the chosen people, and now we have the God-given duty to fuck everyone up and take their stuff."

And, just like that, Discordia has nothing to do with the Principia book, or the BIP, or a measured introspection of your belief structures.  The root of Discordia is petty spite.  It's about carelessly wiping out a major city-state because someone didn't invite you to their party.

Do you get it, now?  Trump is born of Eris.  Trump is the incarnation of Eris.  Trump is Eris.  He is petty, spiteful, random, careless of consequences.  He's exactly the kind of god you wanted, the one you voted for, and now he's wandering free over the Earth, crashing everyone's party!

Isn't it fun?

I said the same thing about GWB in 2003 and damn near got lynched in this bitch.

In 2016 I would have agreed. This time everything they have done is deliberate media shock attack, keep people reeling from the last awful thing you did and before they can respond do the next one.
I can say this because its literally what their steve bannon advised them to.
Its systematic, orchestrated, choreographed, and a tool of the same old con, but smarter and meaner. There's nothing chaotic about it, and Trump doesn't have to do anything, just relax and do everything his advisers tell him to

Agreed.  They--whoever "they" are--are doing it on purpose.

At the risk of arguing semantics, I'd say that "keeping people reeling" is chaos.  I also think Trump's unpredictability on tariffs, foreign policy, etc. is mostly his own doing, and that his advisers are largely yes-men.

But if we look more at the domestic affairs side, I might agree with you.  Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem have their agenda, and in that context, one could argue that Trump is less a chaos engine, and more a useful idiot.

And here we once more see the optimism in pretending destructive order is the natural state of chaos

I won't deny it it's part in chaos as a whole, however, but it is not its totality
