So, hello.  Couple questions:

Are thinkers (not knowers) who actually still find Crowley and Robert Anton Wilson and myths/religions/metaphors interesting welcome here, or not?  Just wondering.

Also, why do most forums on the internet seem to try and scare away friendly people, in lieu of those who display the toughest backbone and most certainty of their own coolness (i.e., don't get scared off by arrogant standards)?

Just some thoughts for now... don't have time for any further reflection.  Time to go home from work. ^_^

I've found that people tend to be open to the RAW, Crowley, Leary, Omar, Mal-2 stuff, if its not just repetition. I use the grand old metaphors liberally in my writings/posts and people seem to like it. However, if you come in spouting that DMT IS MADE IN THE PINEAL GLAND OMGZ!!! IT MUST BE MADGICKAL! then you may get a bit of ball busting. I like that you used words like myth and metaphor, that indicates to me, that you're probably fine... I think most of the people here that rail against the RAW stuff, usually are focusing on the people that confuse the Law of Fives with some real Law wherein everything is actually related to the magical number 5. Sometimes, in their exuberance, to chide people for not thinking for themselves, they act like a Cosmic Schmuck and try to blame Bob for the actions of idiots, but that's standard operating procedure for human brains. 

For some reason, some people here don't want those kinds of Discordians to hang out here... so they made the front door look a little more scary than it actually is.
