Quote from:  I was referring to pretty much every human being evar, I mean I don't know for sure but I've got to assume that everyone is wired more or less the same way and fear is the thing that tells you that picking a fight with a 300lb bouncer who could snap you in half is a bad thing and fear is the thing that tells you that watching one more episode of Dr. Phil will completely crush your will to live. Maybe I'm wrong though, maybe everyone has completely different physiological (sp) responses.

So answer my question.

Are you telling me that if you're disgusted you don't mind? You don't care if you become more disgusted?

That wasn't an answer.

So you aren't a human?

Goodbye, Fnorrdie.

You still didn't answer the original question.

You're just going to say "goodbye"?

C'mon Rog, be a sport. I answered your question.

Nobody is right all the time.

BADGE OF HONOR

Um, I'm just going to point out that there are other survival instincts besides fear.  Such as disgust.

*runs away*
The Jerk On Bike rolled his eyes and tossed the waffle back over his shoulder--before it struck the ground, a stout, disconcertingly monkey-like dog sprang into the air and snatched it, and began to masticate it--literally--for the sound it made was like a homonculus squatting on the floor muttering "masticate masticate masticate".

Shibboleet The Annihilator

Getting too drunk to argue...

Urgh..

Ok, so if you're disgusted aren't you afraid of becoming more disgusted?

If looking at goatse makes you vomit, and you don't like to vomit, you have no fear of looking at it again?

BADGE OF HONOR

Don't like to isn't the same as being afraid  of.  I really don't like to vomit, but I'm not afraid of doing so.

Well, anyways...

I'd like to thank my parents, BGP, Brobrah, and all of the little people out there!

I doubt that Roger has that problem. I think hes seen so much that damn near NOTHING can faze him (thus his stoicism while working). Most people would start screaming and never stop if they got even a peak at the things he knows.

One by one, we break the sheep from their Iron Bar Prisons and expand their imaginations, make them think for themselves. In turn, they break more from their prisons. Eventually, critical mass is reached. Our key word: Resolve. Evangelize with compassion and determination. And realize that there will be few in the beginning. We are hand picking our successors. They are the future of Discordianism. Let us guide our future with intelligence.

Naw.  I haven't seen much more than anyone else my age, I suspect.

I just paid attention.

>.< I said that wrong. Oh well, you repeated what you already said earlier this thread. Replace "paid attention" with "seen" in what I said. Then it makes sense with what you already said.

Did I mention Im sleep deprived?
