Genre?  I only regard genre affiliations as historical markers.  I find alot of it similar, but the same goes with any genre.  Too much of one area of sound is a bad thing.

Oh no, I think they are great musicians, just the music is funny.  And Ozzy himself never had an ounce of talent, but he did surround himself with good musicians.  I wonder why he isn't dead yet.

He has a distinct voice which is his talent.  And he does have a knack for picking great axemen.  Randy Rhodes, Jake E. Lee, Zakk Wilde, etc.  His successor in Black Sabbath Ronnie James Dio was much more talented but never got the acclaim he did.  A much more metal voice.

Try "Crisis".

Karyn Crisis is pretty damn hardcore, IMO.  And she's fairly easy on the eyes, as well (if you like that kind of thing).
