I figure everyone is pretty much content with the way things are run here. If not then I hope they feel comfortable that they can speak up at any time and they will be heard.

Of course, Cain and Roger aren't "everyone".

We want this to be your place as much as it is ours same as we've always wanted. Each and every member's opinion is important to us.

The only involvment I want myself with the Admin/modding side of things is to delete spambots, pointless Trolls, Mod posts that arent at all suitable and mess about doing things with the forum software.

And to be able to ban people like Roger and Cain.

when you get a much larger userbase than this board (which is quite small really) you inevitably end up with a lot more "special" members, either neo-nazi skinhead satanists or bunch of Trolls.

People who troll are on a par with Neo-Nazi Satanists.  Roger and Cain troll, ergo they are on the same level as Neo Nazi Satanists

So yes we're always going to welcome new ideas and fresh new approaches people just have to speak up if they want things changed.

Again, Roger and Cain are exempt from this under the "shithead clause" of the forum rules.

Actually, its hypocrites and unwarranted self importance.  Its quite hard to ignore 5000 odd trolls descending on a board all at once, so we struck that from our Charter last year.

As members we are here for free. The question of democratic rights doesn't apply. We are guests in someone else's house and should behave accordingly or expect to be asked to leave. That's just how I see it.

You didn't bother to post on there till you had a fall out with Tent and Eldora and then you only came back to cause shit so I don't see why you would care even if it was a full ban.

In my town we have about every color, race, however the fuck you want to categorise people based on where their ancestors came from.  In the aprtment complex I live in, I have had some interesting neighbors.  The most interesting was the lady from Jamaica man.  The saddest, but probably most inspiring, were the students from Taiwan, who lived 8 in an apartment with almost no furniture.  Well, in the last couple of years, one of the junior colleges has sent a lot of their freshman kids here.  They are from Detroit.  The first semester there were a lot of peoblems.  That's how I remember and that is also how the cop I just talked to remembers it.  I have some black girls that live on one side of me.  They are so quiet, I thought they moved.  They go to school and stay at home and they are quiet.  In the apartment on the other side, and the next one down, I have new neighbors.  The second one down has 4 black girls.  Other than being loud once and being lippy to me after the door was shut, I haven't had a problem with them.

The next door apartment has a girl, it looks like she lives alone.  She is beautiful, probably not white, don't know much else about her.  My hubby says that her dad comes to visit and that he will talk to him the next time he's here, but I am getting ahead of myself.  We don't know too much, except that she has bunch of black guys visit her.  A lot.  Not always the same ones.  And I have never seen any girls visit.  They were being loud tonight.  And not for the first time.  My hubby went to talk to them about being loud.  Then I see them walking back and forth past my window, kinda hanging there.  Like they were casing the joint.  Now, I may be paranoid, but that doesn't mean that no one is out to get me.  So, I poke my head out the door and say, "What the fuck is going on out here."  The rest happened kinda fast, but not too.  There was a skinny guy on the balcony still, the others were at the cars.  He gets lippy with me, starts to go back to whatever apartment they were visiting, his buddies in the parking lot tell him not to.  Then, other words were said, by all of us, I think, my hubby says something about getting a shotgun, I dial 911.  I explain what is going on to a very confused dispatcher, the boys leave, my hubby gets the plate, and I agree to have the police come out so I can talk to them.  I change out of my knit shorts into a pair of jeans, put on a sweater that is nice, but not to nice, fix my pony tail and put on sneakers and generally try my best to look like a soccer mom.  The cop comes out, we have a lovely chat about the young people of today, the crazy spring, and that we shouldn't bother confonting these kids if they come back, just call the cops.  I had to get this down, I feel better, I am no longer shaking and thank you for your support.
