There are lots of grammatical errors, but I can get past that.  I like your ideas that you provide in your rants.   Except that I like things to be of an entirely generalized nature.  That leaves ends open for interpretation.

I have this problem of being able to notice the tendencies of Western thought in its general form in people's ideas.  You present the world as Us against them, and I disagree.  Us = Them.  That is important to KNOW.  Revolution starts with the individual.  A supressed people create a supressive revolution, as Russia once taught us.

Liberated individuals realize the blame is not on the shoulders of others, but of themselves.

this is fantastic. really. in a very sad sort of way.

umm, the US is FAR from having the highest murder rate in the world, FYI.

that honor belongs to Colombia.

You say that like the U.S. doesn't already own Columbia.

Always acknowledge a fault. This will throw those in authority off their guard and give you an opportunity to commit more.

I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him.

I thought the US murder rate was the highest too.  I'm going to have to check.  Neongenesis made a good point too.

Shibboleet The Annihilator

Last I checked the US had the highest murder rate of any country by far.

Cain

Per capita Colombia is highest, however for raw numbers its India.  Sorry, looks like Turd was right.  US comes as 6th on the second, somewhere in the teens on the former.

Google is your friend, but the article doesn't show a link for supporting info from the UN, where it claims to getr its info.

What about just gun deaths?

Was that what he was doing?

I don't know. I listen to Tool never.

it's highly appropriate. unforunately.

i seem to recall someone ranting about a waste of potential, and yet i see those that complained so greatly about other's wastes, that they did not see the encoruagement of others to do worse than waste, but to revert...

america being 6th is a bit of a surprise. then again, murder isn't necessarily the best indicator for citizens turning on each other. i'm sure the crappy laws aren't the only reason the land of the free imprisoned more of it's own people than soviet russia during the cold war.

nto to say all american s are vile, or that you favour citizens turning on each other as a symptom of your own conciously chosen ignornance of what is right outside your own front doors. it's the small things that add up.

that show your mettle.
that speak volume without you whispering a word.

i hope i am not so, as i see some of you.
Hell is other people.

Cain

Unfortunately Horab, I think its a symptom of all "advanced/industrial" nations of people turning on each other.  There was an article the other day from a news service (I was Stumbling and didn't save the addy, sadly) showing that people in the US were using the DHS to slander reputations and advance themsleves either in their personal life or at work.  They thought this was surprising.

When I studied how the Gestapo worked in Cologne, it was exactly the same.  Over 50% of their intelligence and tip-offs were recieved from the general public who had no incentive from the Gestapo to report them.  People were denounced as Jews or secret Communists so that someone could get a flat or promotion while the often falsely accused person lingered in a concentration camp.  I havent looked at it, but I wouldnt be surprised if this was the method of operation from Soviet Russia to the UK in the 80s.

People are much worse than sheep.  At least sheep dont bite at each other and leave them as a sacrafice in their attempt to escape the wolves when attacked.

And yes, I know Godwin's bloody rule...etc...yadda yadda...I can't help it. Germany from 1919-45 is my historical model.  Blame the British national cirriculum.

Exchange concentration camp for burning at the stake and you have the reason most "witches" were burned.  Not because anyone thought they were a witch, but because someone wanted their land.

Even more interesting is looking at the social clusters where witch burnings occurred, and they were most common where the influences of different churches overlapped. Theological warzones with pagans as the culprits and sometimes as the victims.

Doesn't surprise me, now you mention it, though its not an area of my expertise.  When the secret police/law enforcement are unaccountable and reliant on denunciations from the public for their evidence, the system always opens to abuse and shows you how people really act.

umm, VERY few people were EVER burned at the stake for being witches. please to be researching the veracity of your claims before making them.

also, it's funny that Horab thinks that Canada is somehow different from America.

That honor belongs to Colombia with much of America's help.  Our interests in Colombia enourage all this killing.
