Saw The Passion.

Fliegender kinder schei?üe!!!!!!!!!!!

Most disturbing film I've ever seen.

Starts at the garden and just is a graphic blood bath until his death.

Not much dialog or clever new ground broken adding insight like Last Temptation.

Bloody flesh ripping images over and over making Hellraiser look like a Shirley Temple film.

Wierd astistic license scenes of little kids chasing Judas, and a Raven pecking the bad theif on the cross that doubted Christ.

It was just awkwardly written with good cinematography.

and a brutal portrayal of JC getting the shit kicked out of him.

Bad guys all were obvious, ugly, and had bad teeth.

No duality or reality with the pharisees either.

Don't recomend. Borderline nausiating and pointless.

Yeah, but anyone who didn't grow up in the Kalahari Desert kinda knows that.

I mean if they arested the guy and in jail 5 years later, smothered him in his sleep with a pillow, and said he died of the the flu, then we'd all be still saying Zeus Damnit.

Funny, I was seeing it as a backlash against a female, while the male who was also involved remained unscathed.
Hadn't considered the black/white issue, but it sure makes sense.
I reckon it's both issues, really.
