What?! No, nonono!

This is just a tool for creativity! Take whatever you get from it (if anything) and do with it as you will. By all means tear it appart, add your own stuff, whatever. But don't just shut up and figure Im saying the same thing as you.

Wasn't serious - just having a self depreciating moment. Fkin Sepias fault if you ask me. Made me feel all inadequate in my cornflakes this am.

Fart me in the face! (I don't do anything, I'm just a mood enhancer)

This looks very good and very manualish like and me likes. Gonna print out now and look more closely at it at home. Also, coverdesign should be sexy. It should look like scarlett johannson wrapped in an intense blowjob on mdma with gil scott heron on the speakers. (well, this is ofcourse highly subjective but you might get my meaning)

As a meme, I really don't see that one catching on.

However, such a thing might be actually true, in that she's dating Justin Timberlake.

It's caught on in my mind.

I'm assuming this thread is relatively dead, but I'm glad to have run across it.

Having a comprehensive format plan to look at is handy.  I'd like to see gems like these that help to guide the BIP stuck into a forum that isn't littered with comments.

Perhaps a preemptive intro like: "these are just some peoples ideas on what this project is and should be doing... none of them are right or wrong but they are here for easy reference..." would be really handy for those of us that haven't been  here since time began as well as those who have been here so long they forgot.

As far as the cover thing goes, if it hasn't been decided, I like the design of the illuminatti pyramid with the prison bars from the wiki thrown down with the title of it.  That would make me sex in my pants.

1. If you think the BIP forum would be better without comments, then you don't get the point of it in the first place.

2. Okay, see that thing that says "Pages" at the top of the BIP forum? And the numbers next to it, see those? You can CLICK (yeah, what a concept) on those numbers, and go to the earlier pages. In fact, the whole thing is rather short, which means you could go through all the threads in a day or so.

3. If you've been paying attention you would know that one of the goals of the project was to use different symbols to get away from the PD a bit. Besides, the illuminati pyramid just isn't funny anymore.

Ok, I'll try to be helpful.

I'm assuming this thread is relatively dead, but I'm glad to have run across it.

Having a comprehensive format plan to look at is handy.  I'd like to see gems like these that help to guide the BIP stuck into a forum that isn't littered with comments.

Please clarify if you mean the the BIP is stuck, or you would like threads such as these insterted into the BIP forum.

Also, since the forum evolves, "gems" like these are scattered throughout.  This is one of the reasons for the "dumpster diving" thread, and the propoganda forum.  In fact, i'll go put the OP in there, now.

I can't tell what you're trying to say here.  Do you mean that the BIP project seems offputting to people who have just arrived?  Well, that's just the way it is.  While we've done our best to make introductions to the concept, we've also had long discussions about it, and have moved to certain points that took us a while to get there.  A newcomer will have to put in some work.  I don't see what yet another self-effacing disclaimer will do.

I was looking for something like the new thread you just put up where you stuck in all the old gems from the early BIP days.  I think I mentioned this also in the mag thread and you just got to this one later thinking that the problem hadn't yet been resolved.

What I was getting at is that there is a ton of shit to sift through.  Reading the full length of every thread would be far more trouble than I would want to manage for writing an article mag.

Especially since the article I am putting together is going to be intended for new readers, not the old fogies on the site that were there when the shit was written and probably wrote half of it.

They don't need an article.  They were there.

Until I do get further through the material I don't intend on writing any rant worthy stuff as I feel it would be important for me to have the previous influences referenced in my cranium so that I can present something new.

Not that there is anything new under the sun, I just don't wanna accidentally rehash someone elses shit.  I'm hoping to get a few more reviews on that other piece before I redraft it though.

Your commentary was particularly helpfull so thanks for that.

If the BIP wiki does what it should, that would probably answer your issues.

Which, if I understand correctly, boils down to this:

"Where can I go to get the distilled product of all these discussions?"

already on that train, but thanks.  Ima do that and the thread you just added before I work too hard on the mag article, even then, I'm planning on using triple zero's idea about having the BIP greybeards answer them and translate it into something fun and readable, plus I still have more HIMEOBS research to do.  So far I know what it stands for and that it's seemingly the star wars illuminatti.  That's technically enough to do the article, but I'd rather have a better understanding of the animal before I poke it with a stick.

Hola!

Feel the need to stick my nose into this debate, even though no one here has said much to me, if at all... And Vice-Versa.

I am a complete newcomer, and yes, perhaps a condensed version of what this is about would be good. However I feel it more productive to trawl through all the earlier discussions and find out HOW this stuff was put together.

Of course, I have the time to do that, cause I am a total bum. Hell I've even raided the only booze/mixer in the place and sip merrily as i write this nonsense (gin? and dr. pepper? not recomended folks, unless ur {edit: you're} desperate)

Don't mean to step on any toes or stick my nose in, but let the ppl do their work.

P.S Cheers for the directions LMNO, I chose the path but u {edit: you}vaguely waved at it in a noncommital way...

I think I really like this guy.

My only criticism is of the usage of "u". Please people, its spelled "you". (I try to ignore it, I really do)

Because it's YOU, I will try. I cannot make any promises, as the 'txtual spk' of the age seems to have rotted my previously "Proper English Language Bully" brain.

Hell I used to moan about apostrophes and all, now I'm trying to get my head around apostasy.

Meh.

The Gin and Dr. Pepper are now all gone. And I'm out of weed.
