Yes. They hate fun, they hate joy, and they hate science. And the sun.
I dunno man. People who are that angry all the time don't seem to know how to enjoy themselves!

I experience joy from hating things. :(
I know exactly what you mean! It's like their parents didn't love them enough or something.
You know i read somewhere that physical contact, like hugs, is very important for the development of the infant's brain.
Oh, I get it.
Here, have my friend Alex. He is a good antidote to those people.

:fuckoff:
At least in the short term, hating is easier than loving - as instead of getting shat on, you're the one doing the shitting.
I don't hate anything...well I hate it when people refuse to listen to other points of view or try and learn something that will improve how they interact with others. My wife makes me happy, just seeing her makes me happy. My cat makes me happy. Not waking up one day would make me happy, aside from the fact that I wouldn't realize it.
I love everything. When the world shits on my soul, I turn the other cheek for some more because it feels like an orgasm to me.
I dislike a lot of things.
But hate? Hate implies that its something that matters to you.
And thats a step beyond indifference.
Apathy is quite delightful.

I think you accidentally just hit on exactly the reason why hating is so glorified on this board.
Apathy and "Think for yourself, schmuck!" are diametrically opposed.
Indifference and apathy are what is going to get you, your rights and your freedom all trampled over and stomped upon.
If you dislike something, dislike it with a
passion. A passion we call "hate".
Pretending that it does not matter to you or you don't care is just going to leave you with a vague sense of background discomfort and uneasyness. Undirected, untargeted and unfocused. Which is just the way the CoN likes it, fertile ground to exert its control.
(i realize this thread is somewhat tongue-in-cheek and I may be taking this way too serious, but I also wrote it down to get people's reactions, I wonder if I got this right. it's also an example of not practicing what I preach, I'm not that hateful myself either, I got some bars in my prison for that :)/:(, but this is my understanding of the hateful mindset, aka what the deal is with "hating everything")
It's a thin line between love and hate...
I do find myself far more drawn to people who are passionate, negatively and positively, toward things than those who are apathetic or merely lukewarm.
I want gusto, passion, intensity.
I hate people who reference movies that quote Annie Lennox covering the Persuaders.
I always advocate usage of hate, physics, loathing, and fire. They WORK, jsut don't get caught up in them.

Hating everything is a very enlightened worldview. Its only when you begin singling out specific groups or activities for your hatred and getting all judgemental that it becomes a problem.

I was stating realistically how i am, not what i think is ideal.
Battling every retarded proposition or statement im confronted with everyday, for sure requires a lot of energy...
But then again, im a bit schizoid (just want to be left alone) and that sort of influences...
Its a sort of apathy of action, but i do keep note and think of stuff that i dislike... at least i try to express it thru my writing.

I totally agree with this. Hating everything at once without differentiating different "things" to hate closely approaches the non-dualistic meditation state.
