... but go together.
i'll start, chili and cheese (cheddar or red lester)
try it on toast makes a good snack, also since people have different preferences the hotnessness of the chili can be varied, from your bog standard jalapeño to scotch bonnets, habaneros and nagas.
i love spicy food.

chili and cheese is a classic
Didn't we already do this?

who doesn't think chili and cheese go together?
I used to enjoy dipping cool ranch doritos in chocolate milk.

Sharp cheddar works on curry or vindaloo too.

it's weird.
you're weird.
why are you so weird?
I'm not saying these things are "weird" (whatever that may be), but I don't see them often and I like them.
Dark chocolate with chilis
Dark Chocolate with curry
" " with bacon
White meats cooked with red wines and vice/versa
Oreos dipped in hummus
...That's about it.

For reals.
I don't think I've ever eaten (or really seen many other people eat) chili without a pound of cheese on top.
Jalapeno kettle chips (must be good ones and nice and spicy) dipped in sweet and sour sauce.

chocolate and chilis are both essential ingredients in most mole sauces, which are fucking awesome.
also, Coq au Vin and Lapan Moutard are both awesome dishes that combine white meat and red wine. Those frenchies really know their shit.
mmmmmm
chilis and chocolate.
i had a beer fermented with that and cinnamon and vanilla the other day.

MMMMMMMMmmmmm
The next time we make a homebrew I intend to influence toward using chocolate and chilis
I could see mole-flavored beer being alright.
I don't think there is much mole isn't good on or in.....

I plan to spend a lot of my next year of life doing cool projects (for SCIENCE!! *shakes fist*) and I think that would be a worthwhile endeavor.
cinnamon and pork
beer and vegetable juice
i was recently bought a drink called a "wisconsin lunch box"
consists of a shot of amaretto dropped into a rocks glass filled with half beer, half orange juice. i didn't think it would be very good, but it is surprisingly delicious.
I like dipping french fries in chocolate shakes. :D This works particularly well at Wendy's with their frosties.

cinnamon is a common ingredient in spices that go on pork in the West Indies.

if you lose the OJ and make the shot half amaretto and half 151, you'll have a flaming Dr. Pepper (provided you light the shot on fire before you drop it in the beer)

Dammit! Now I want Wendy's. And I usually hate their fries.
Coco puffs and grape juice. It may be just this particular grape juice, it's made by Welch's and it's for toddlers and young children. Got "Brain Development" on the front. My son has a cold and can't have milk right now, so I gave him dry cereal, and he dumped in his grape juice. And he kept eating it.
Let's all go to Wendy's. Since I want some too.
Ketchup on Mac'n'Cheese and potatoes... and Peanut butter on my burgers. Good.
I still remember that when I was in pre-school there were a lot of kids mixing ketchup into their mashed potatoes. There's no way I would do that now but it was good at that time.
Along that same line: Worchestershire sauce on stuffing. Especially if I'm eating it with pork.
Apple slices on pizza. Yum!

I'd never have survived if they hadn't invented ketchup. But when I'm eating my favorite snack of chips and ketchup, the ketchup often doesn't have enough sugar to compliment the salty chips, so I add some honey.

enough sugar!?
Nope. I call it ketchoney. And sometimes I make Ketchupaki, that's good too. And then theres Ketchonaki, which is honey and terryaki in the ketchup.
SOO tasty.
Sriracha, of course, is just what ketchup is supposed to be.

Spicy mustard on bbq chips (especially Grippo's) is awesome too.

I don't think so, but it's certainly inaccurate. It's ketchup with terryaki in it. I don't do much spicy, unless it's flaming hot cheetoes. With ketchup.
Lemon zest and miso (the white kind) makes a tasty sauce.
