Someone at google has OCD and is a grammer nazi.

I don't like it when people write in ALL CAPS, but it helps me easily identify the idiots without having to waste my time actually reading their idioticy.

I have my browser stylesheets set so that the entire internets is in ALL CAPS.

This seems to be a rather shifty move.

I fucking hate the caps lock key. I think it should be relocated to somewhere you CAN'T hit it by accident when you're reaching for Shift.

I also think the idea of activating capslock by hitting the shift key twice is RETARDED. RE FUCKING TARDED, THAT'S LIKE TARDED  TWICE. I shudder to think how many times in an average typing session I would accidentally double-tap that motherfucker (that's what she said!) and the screaming rage that would ensue.

It'll probably be easier to disable the double tap shift than the capslock key.

This whole statement is awesome and I agree.  The bolded was a :coffeekeyboard: and now I'm going to go steal one from someone's desk who is at lunch!!! :wink:

I found the capslock key indispensable when I was a kid, and wasn't coordinated enough to press two buttons at once.  It makes things easier if you're on the "hunt and peck" typing strategy.

Doubletap is what you have to do on the damned iPhone to get it to capslock...which is probably what Nigel meant...

I wish I could get a full-size keyboard without capslock.  It is useless.  And it is right next to the third most frequent character in my language.  What the fuck.  Let's just make a "select all and delete" key next to the enter key while we're being dumb.

Personally, I think that capslock should be a multi-key function. alt-shift-8 or some shit.

Some of my truly nerdy acquaintances are complaining that they use the capslock key as an extra ctrl or command key.  :lulz:

personally I hate the enter key being right next to the apostrophe.  Since it sends text in any IM and in IRC I end up with a posessive meaning I send half the post.

actually, I set my Capslock key to be an extra Escape key. Cause indeed I would also press it by accident. There were a whole bunch of options, and this one turned out to be marginally more useful than just disabling it.
