I started a thread about one piece of female anatomy...you know what I'm talkin about...now lets try another...eyes.
Find female eyes that you think look the most like you imagine Eris' eyes would look.

There's no age requirement for a thousand yard stare.
She lives in Afghanistan, FFS.

Well, you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs, and you can't make the Perfect State™ without breaking some children. It's just how things go.
Interesting, though, that this was considered a fine piece of "female anatomy" given the age (which could be due to ignorance) and the fucked-up nature of the pic (which couldn't).

It's why I have avoided this thread until your post.
He didn't say he wanted to bang her, he said her eyes reminded him of Eris' eyes.
Situation or age notwithstanding, those are some very compelling eyes.

Well, he referenced the boob thread, so I took it that way. However, I gotta cut him some slack...When I first saw that pic on National Geographic's cover, I thought she was in her 20s.
But it was just a load of PTSD making her look older.

Yeah, last time I saw eyes like that, it involved 4 days of "go pills".
btw, related:
17 years later, they tracked down the girl in that photo and wrote this article (http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2002/04/afghan-girl/index-text).
She had "stranger danger" and the photographer barely got her permission before he took her pic. Awesome picture that it is, it has brought MILLIONS to the cause of helping Afghanistan's women and girls fight abuse, and it tells a dark tale of the refugee (which is where the National Geographic photographer found her).
Now, as he's refound her, her eyes are a little gentler and much more careworn...less deer in headlights.

I dunno why but that picture, the original younger one, reminds me of a shot of Frodo in LOTR. There's a scene where he has that same kinda stare. I wonder if that picture was inspiration for that shot.

No. It's just that Elijah Wood has PTSD, which is a result of his actually having to be Elijah Wood.

Um...yeah...maybe I should have been a little clearer...TOTALLY didn't mean to imply I was looking for strictly sexual pics...although I certainly think of Eris as having a sexual quality about her. I was aware of the girls age and the circumstances...it was the intensity that drew me.

That's shell shock, not something normally attributed to Eris' appearance (in mythology, she gets off on wrecking entire civilizations as a prank). Also, Eris is universally depicted in Greek mythology as a crone, typically up to her knees in blood & gore, or hanging off the back of Ares' chariot. Where the current image of a Barbie Doll clone with an aversion to clothing comes from, I am quite sure I don't know.
I mean, if Discordianism is about Eris - and not all agree it is - then perhaps we should be honest with ourselves as to what exactly we're following.

One day Mal-2 consulted his Pineal Gland and asked Eris if She really created all of those terrible things. She told him that She had always liked the Old Greeks, but that they cannot be trusted with historic matters. "They were," She added, "victims of indigestion, you know."

And she was a Marine.

Fuck yes, she was. She'd fucking anyone's shit royally, and took large parts of Tarawa off the Japanese single-handedly.
They had to classify it all and say she was a file clerk, though, to cover up what she did to the few prisoners she took.

Plus, the Pixies wrote a song about it, so it's a pop culture touchstone as well.

:lulz:
I don't think the Bunnies are actually dead, They're just blinded. Some kind of Draize test, to see how much less appealing a maimed Bunny is, than a whole, healthy Bunny. But it turns out people find the aesthetics of a maimed, blinded cartoon rabbit far more worthy to look at.

This.... and i still dont get what does a dog from Andaluz has to do with anything in that short...
When dealing with Bunuel and Dali, those sorts of questions are meaningless.
QuoteBuñuel made clear throughout his writings that, between Dalí and himself, the only rule for the writing of the script was that "no idea or image that might lend itself to a rational explanation of any kind would be accepted." Moreover, he stated that, "Nothing, in the film, symbolizes anything. The only method of investigation of the symbols would be, perhaps, psychoanalysis."
