I heard that there's not much room in the cemetery, so she's covering Janis Joplin.

She should have said yes, yes, yes.
I've been waiting for someone to text me a good one. So far, I am disappointed.

I liked that song, which is the reason I remembered who she was. Also "Rehab" and her name is Winehouse always made me lol.
In other news, several Camden area drug dealers filed for unemployment this morning.

Did she died?
I always thought she was one of the more tragic of the recent celebrity trainwrecks.

Yup, she died at her London flat.
To be honest, after her last train-wreck of a performance, where she was booed off stage (because she was so high she could barely stand, let alone hold a tune) I wouldn't have placed money on her lasting to the end of the year.
Adele came out and took over the role of white-girl-with-black-diva-vocals. It was no longer necessary to put up with Winehouse's rich-white-girl-with-white-girl-problems. Her "tortured addict soul" bullshit suddenly became very trite and very passé.

i can tell you from personal expeience that no one wants to snork blow off your ass and tits if they think they are going to catch your hepatitus.
Poor fucking thing.
Yeah, I realize it's not very funny to actually feel sorry for her.
I won $300 in a celebrity death pool that some friends and I have been doing for years. I was the first person to ever have one of their picks pan out.

At this point, I'm going to invoke TGRR's 2d Rule.

The one that went "Always return borrowed powertools"?
For what it's worth, this is the first time since the early nineties that I heard about a famous person dying before someone told me a joke about that person's death.
That's the real tragedy here.

No, that's the one that says "everything is funny when it happens to someone else."
Number 4 is the power tools one.
