I think the renaming of Apple talk may be inspiring folks to be less serious lately.
As for this thread, I saw some statistics at the end of Alty's (i think it was Alty's, anyway) 99.9999999% thread and it made me think of a "we are the 110%" movement to tie in with the notion that one should work hard and give 110% but I could think of a way to further crystalize the idea, so, instead of shitting up Alty's thread with a non sequitor, I started this one instead. Hoping someone else might like the idea, but also be able to flesh out some ideas in lower case letters.

That was 6 years ago and I haven't experienced any symptoms of Welsh exposure. I assumed I'm through the incubation period. Can EWS (Exposed to Welsh Syndrome) go into a dormant state? I regularly consume alcohol as a purgation agent. Should I up the frequency?

It's just another part of what seems to be a pattern of you throwing out an idea in a way that makes absolutely no sense to anyone. You're almost as bad as Yatto sometimes.
As the author of that OP I can safely say you may not want to use it as a starting off point, it was kind of crap. This is worse, but that one was pretty awful. I mean, that OP was a horrible shit stain on epic magnitude, a skidmark that never leaves your nastiest pair of underwear that smells so awful that you get vertigo and puke every time you walk within 5 feet of your laundry basket making it impossible to clean the damned things so you can get on with your life.

The songs themselves are good to listen to, but the lyrics are by and large meaningless. Part of what he did was chop up lines from his poetry and rearrange it into lyrics. And that's why they make absolutely no sense. Except, he could get away with that because there was guitar, bass, drums, and mumbling to distract you from that fact. You don't have that luxury here.

Some things catch your attention and you stare for awhile. Some things don't and are quickly forgotten, if noticed at all.
To take that one step further, I would say what is going on in this thread is akin to a passerby telling a tree it isn't interesting enough.

To take that one step further, I would say what is going on in this thread is akin to a passerby telling a tree it isn't interesting enough.

Although, I have typed out short essays on my iPhone before and posted them. It's a bit of a pain but not that big of a deal with a modicum of effort.

i was considering starting a "rongs incomplete thoughts thread" where i can post things such as "I am the 110%"
would something like this be met with approval or more disapproval?
i seem to have lots of these ideas, but my creative process seems to work best collaboratively and so i have a hard time deciding what to do with it once conceived.

Sure! You can get a blog for free at blogspot or wordpress.com , that way people who are actually interested in your incomplete thoughts can go there and comment and collaborate on your creative processes.

A couple weeks ago, at work - we were in the shop and one guy was looking at yahoo news. a story came up about why barns are red. one of the comments to the news article was "who cares? lick my balls"
this has become a popular saying around the shop. i have had to now fight the urge several times to respond to posts with "who cares? lick my balls"

I hate Yahoo News, and I REALLY hate that what assholes have been reading what Yahoo News articles now comes up at the top of my Facebook feed and I can't hide it.
i don't care much for yahoo news either. in fact, i don't really care much for any news.
