I like knives. My favorite knife is a Kershaw Ken Onion random task... it flicks open with a nice little snick.

On-topic is a relative term around here, our mods don't really mod unless you break the rules.

i am very disappointed in this board. i was hoping you'd treat a newcomer with respect and post on topic replies in this most serious of threads. i was hoping this would be the best of all possible badass knife threads but apparently it's not going to happen.

Not that one, but I have made several. It's kind of a thing here in Belgium (A small town in Norway, in case someone isn't aware of european geography). We spend many hours in elementary school learning to make stuff from wood.

Some Village IS the capital of Belgium. The County in Lithuania, not the small town in Norway. The Capital of Norway is, as we all know, Tissvassklumptjønnin.

Every threads a stage and all the posters play many roles in their time. Threads develop a life of their own, it encourages the creative process but if it is any help the only knife I own is a leatherman multitool for work and I love it more then even my soldering iron.

It's times like this I wish I still had the links to the Zentastic videos.  Among the many other, potentially brain-damaging materials they contained was a short clip of a man who could fit a butter knife down his urethra.

Oh well, now I've said it, you'll just have to imagine the scene instead.

The accusation of "nothing but troll replies"  callously ignores Nigel's response.

That being said, my hopes of posting a imagewall of my own collection are pretty much quashed at this point.

Enrico was serious.

It's times like this I wish I still had the links to the Zentastic videos.  Among the many other, potentially brain-damaging materials they contained was a short clip of a man who could fit a butter knife down his urethra.

Oh well, now I've said it, you'll just have to imagine the scene instead.

Dude.  "Tools for tools like you."  Page 4 3.  one of the three top posts.

Not safe for viewing anywhere.  Home, work, private bunker.

Suggest you get something to stab into your eye halfway through video one.  Its better than watching the rest of it, trust me.

  Is shame, I was so upset, I missed Generalissimo's contribution.

I will photo document the "My First Junta" set given to me by father, so Enrico can see how fine Salazorian products came to the hands of impressionable USA children.

No problem.

By the way, Fang and Iceman are cooking up some plan with respect to PD.

I am so insanely bored, I am looking forward to this, and the horrible retribution that will immediately follow.

Edit: For Nigel and Uncle Enrico.  This is what I could lay hands on quickly, the rest is...around.

Starting off slow, the cooking knives. No name santuko, Wusthoff 8" chef's knife, no name light cleaver.

The "My Fist Junta" assortment, stuck in my anvil stand.

The Buck Whittaker that lives on my spare car key.  For completion sake.
For Uncle Enrico, and Nigel.

At the top is 4x Cold Steel "Sure Balance" throwers.  Fun toys.
On the left are the Cold Steel Konjo 1 and 2, both of which have cut tatami better than swords (I tried).
In the middle, top to bottom is a hand-ground single beveled wood carving knife I made from a high speed steel lathe tool, Spyderco Endura with wave, and my Emerson CQC 8 (my two usual work knives).
Far left is my Benchmade model 42 Balisong, for when I feel like flipping.

Projects.  A cleaver I'm re-handling, a large puuko ("crowbar interrupted"), trench spike made with a heavy steel carabiner and an SKS spike bayonet, and tomahawk head I forged myself. (BITCHES DON'T KNOW.)

Yeah.  Easy-e seems cool to me, and I'd rather not trash his board unless absolutely necessary.

But hey, remember that furry dude at CoG?  The one we dug up all that PI on?  That's the kind of game that sounds fun.  I wonder how many future employers would like to Google the IRL names of our friends over there and find on the top of the results a collection of their racist and homophobic tirades?

I wont be able to start until tomorrow sometime, sadly.  I'm struggling to stay awake now, and I've got a meeting with my boss' boss tomorrow (who has a hilarious name, which does not help matters).  But it's not like they can eliminate the Google cache anyway, so time is on our side.

After that...well, I might just visit a few interesting sites I know from my old friends in the field.  The kind that tend to get people anally probed at airports, if they are stupid enough to leave emails all over them.

LOL. i said 'terrorist takedown' maybe if you had been around the forum any longer you'd understand.

Yeah, well, this sort of misunderstanding is how bad things happen, right?

Shame.

Indeed....

Every once in a while, you run into people who BEG for you to give them your bad day.

I feel like I went to Disneyland for Sickos.  muhaha

Well if you promise to stop touching all of the little boys I won't tell anyone...

Um.

Apparently, somebody's feeling left out?

Gonna take that one as a joke.

I am slowing down in my old age.

I'm cranky and disinclined to take much as a joke tonight.  I'm coming down with a cold.

well you obviously need some site police cause everyone is off topic in my serious thread.
Every threads a stage and all the posters play many roles in their time. Threads develop a life of their own, it encourages the creative process but if it is any help the only knife I own is a leatherman multitool for work and I love it more then even my soldering iron.

I was intrigued by the similarity between a leatherman and a butterfly knife.

It's times like this I wish I still had the links to the Zentastic videos.  Among the many other, potentially brain-damaging materials they contained was a short clip of a man who could fit a butter knife down his urethra.

Oh well, now I've said it, you'll just have to imagine the scene instead.

Not safe for viewing anywhere.  Home, work, private bunker.

Suggest you get something to stab into your eye halfway through video one.  Its better than watching the rest of it, trust me.

I clicked the last one and got as far as the guy slicing his dick lengthwise like he was making sausage kolaches.
IOW, not very far.

That's the bit with the scissors, right?  I got through one and two with only a little bit of cringing (the rubber hammer made me lol, and I watched that my first day here!) but I got to the bit with the scissors and I shrieked and turned it off.  :lulz:

A leatherman can't be opened in less then two seconds making it legal to use, butterfly knives were only made for one thing and that is fucking someone up, I'm glad they are illegal.

Heh, I used to stock the adult section at the comic book store I worked at, we had a market for the heavy body modification books, I used to see this stuff all the time.  Yeah, stills, not video, but the cringe factor does eventually fade, some.  (It was also my job as "least squeamish female" to go through the adult section and chase out the pervs who'd been in there for more than a few minutes to keep them from jerking off on the merchandise.  Yay, things to leave OFF the resume...)

You don't leave things OFF a resume, you just call them something utterly misleading. Like "executive director of protecting product from biohazard comtamination".

Winkies are fine, they know what they like, and they're honest about it.  It's what's attached to them that usually starts all the problems. They take the blame for the bad decisions made by the rest of the system.

IF, and I stress the "IF", you are not here to troll, you should probably lurk a bit and see what our deal is.  Nevermind the topics, which are many and varied, but note how we communicate with each other.  T2 is like a bunch of howler monkeys jacking off in each other's faces; PD is like a bunch of cats watching each other at opposite ends of the street, talking amicably until somebody mentions drugs, libertarians, anarchy, magic, or just feels like a fight, and then look out and watch the fur fly.

Sometimes, anyway.
