I also don't see how the race-baiting in the media makes it OK for Zimmerman to have murdered an unarmed kid after being clearly told not to follow or confront him by the actual police (or what passes for them in Florida).

Saw your reply post, but will also say that no, it's not ok for him to have murdered an unarmed kid. It doesn't even matter that he was told not to follow the person, he should not have shot him. Given the history of the neighborhood, I can't say with certainty that I would not have had a gun on me were I in his place. He should have never left his vehicle. If he hadn't, 2 lives would not now be ruined.
That being said, people should always be able to call 911 when they suspect someone in their neighborhood shouldn't be there or might be there with intentions to commit a crime, regardless of their skin color, without being labled racists.

Wow, I think it's a trifle early for you to be that dismissive of the deeply entrenched racism in Florida given its history and the massive questions that are raised by the police's failure to arrest Zimmerman, as well as their apparent orchestrated attempt to fabricate evidence to exonerate him. That's the area in which most people are (legitimately) concerned that it is yet another reflection of corruption and racism by the police.
