I hate that site so much, it never remembers passwords and every time I reset I can't find the option to change the password to something I'll remember before it logs me out :(

Might be your antivirus/tracking protection? I had McAfee for the longest and it was horrible, slowed everything way down and gave warnings about a lot of perfectly harmless sites.

Or the White House site could be borked, it never remembers my password either but I use the same one I use for other places that don't matter. Like Pagan Place.

I've had that problem too, but then it stopped. No idea why.

I live and drive in Houston, these people should all be off the road for their own safety.

They put toxins in the air, just like those pesky inconsiderate smokers. Driving shouldn't be allowed in public where people have to BREATHE the car exhaust and tire particles, IT'S NOT SAFE.

They won't let you cross the street. And the native Bostonian pedestrians are fearless, they walk into speeding traffic thinking "Hit me motherfucker, I could use the money."

Yeah, you can tell I grew up on the other end of the state because I have to glare at traffic to make it stop.

Not only have I done that, I shouted pretty much that same thing while doing it.

Drivers get pissed when you do that.

Massachusetts drivers are literally the worst fucking drivers I have ever been in proximity to, and I've been lost in Manhattan traffic multiple time.

There's a certain mean-spirited insanity present in those freaks that I cannot explain. Especially in Worcester.

Worcester is a really bizarre place.

It's Massachusetts, but the least Massachusetts place in all of Massachusetts. On the one hand its populated with people that you'd probably find in Boston, except in a city in the middle of nowhere. On the other, Monster Truck Rallies.

You know how you've found yourself in Worcester? You see a bunch of Bostonian metalheads showing up for a concert and guffawing at the number of gun shops.

Apparently this is now a super serious bone of contention on Tumblr.

Half of Tumblr is going "yeah, awesome, stick it to the men!" and the other half is going "retarded shit like this is why they raised the petition number limit, causing a number of good petitions to fail you morons".  And those two groups are now fighting.

It's cute how both of them think the White House pays any damn attention to the petition site anyway, and won't just do what it wants to regardless.

Right? In Manhattan and basically everywhere else in NYC, you'll encounter horrible traffic jams, bad driving, and shitheads. But there's a sort of Zen quality to it, in the sense of "Zen" as a filler word for something I don't have the mental energy to properly articulate at the moment. It all feels like the natural way of things, even thought it's painful and occasionally life-threatening.

In the worst parts of Massachusetts, there's a sort of icky personal feel to the horrible driving. Like every other person behind a wheel is deliberately trying to make your experience worse.

Think yourself lucky. At least your bad drivers are driving badly whilst retaining some semblance of beta-consciousness and self preservation. In Scotland we drive badly because we're too drunk to hold the steering wheel the right way up.

Yeah, the ONLY thing that site accomplishes is forcing some staffer to spend time composing a reply explaining why the White House isn't going to do shit.

In Mass, you'll get a ticket for not wearing a helmet when riding a bicycle (because it's UNSAFE) but the plows always push ten feet of snow onto the sidewalks, forcing people to walk in THAT traffic.

YOU GUYS ARE NUTS.  :lulz: :lulz: :lulz:
