ENJOY YOUR ICE AGE.
QuoteBut the cold isn't good news for everyone. In Boston, where the heat index was 105 last Friday, Thursday's forecast says temperatures won't break 70.
BALLS. This weather is perfect. More, please.

RAIN IS DESTROYING TUCSON AS WE SPEAK. THERE IS NO SKY, ONLY ANGER.
JELLUS?
Depends. You have functional roofs, right? Cause like...I watching water come down my wall right now.
To the East, a wall of fire.
To the South, a wall of water.
The wind is blowing from the East, and the North and West are both downhill.
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I expect to lose power within minutes.

Don't die!
Did not die.
Storm mostly killed fire, passed over, and is now trashing the city center.
I consider this cold front to be my birthday present.
And I am so very, very grateful.
It feels wonderful.
I have a puddle in my bedroom.
Two more weeks, damnit.

Mid eighties here, not a cloud in the sky. I love it. I also hardly sweat in hot weather, like some sort of ape-lizard.

This is Sandy/Athena damage. Everything was fine in this place until we had the hurricane and the Nor'Easter back to back within a week, one of them tore off a chunk of my roof that didn't really start causing problems until after the winter because it was ice logged. They can't get up to fix it with me occupying the apartment (they've tried about 5 times.) So I'm moving into the bigger unit across the hall for a great price once they finish with renovations over there.
At least this landlord gives a shit, and it's just a trickle down the wall and window, unlike Niagara Falls over at the rattling death trap, which JUST got it's windows fixed from the downdraft that happened when I lived there within the last year. Seriously, the plastic bags that Richter put over my windows lasted over a year, even after I moved out and that slummy POS managed to rent the apartment somehow. He was also cooshy with the AG, so I got fucked out of getting any money for damages when I filed a complaint and the state was about to turn around and try to legally evict me.
Because Rhode Island.
It was a little cloudy this morning. That's all we got.
FUCKED AGAIN. :argh!:
It's been consistently sunny and warm, with a morning overcast and an afternoon breeze here. In late July.
So, completely unlike Portland.
On Friday, there was a storm that blew up so quick and vicious that our resident Southerner said she'd driven through hurricanes that were calmer. My thirty second romp outside to close my car windows left me looking like a drowned rat.
Five bucks says we get snows that stick this winter.
