There are 4,385 animals in this picture that could kill you dead.

We love it here.

No, they say there's water on Mars.

Arizona was underwater.

Once. Then Tucson happened, I think.

Under 11000 feet of coyote shit and coliche, there is in fact an ancient sea bed.

11000 feet down.  Where it belongs.

WELCOME TO ARIZONA
Nothing valued is here.
Sending this message was important to us, for
we despise you and all who are like you.
We considered ourselves to be a powerful culture,
though our professional football team sucks.
If you enter into this place you will be smitten
with radiation and horrible things will bite
and sting you. The people are evil and violent
and will attack you.
There is nothing for you here.
GO AWAY.

You have some beautiful places, though. Dangerous, but beautiful.

Too bad about that human infestation.

Deserts are the best. They have no qualms telling you that they will fucking kill you. Unlike those bastards the Oceans, and their cousins the Lakes and Rivers. "Just go for a swim, we're just so cool and refreshing..." then BANG giant squid
Not so with the desert.
They simply say "hey fuckface. I'm going to fry your fucking eyeballs in their sockets"

Australia commends your brave effort in outdoing its own lethality, fruitless as it is.

:lulz:

I spent last friday night, in a hostel, drinking with a couple of Aussies who tried to convince me to visit their continent.

"but everything will try to kill me..." I retorted

They started to argue the toss but we ended up re-enacting the "what have the romans ever done for us" skit from Monty Python only with trapdoor spiders and brownsnakes instead of viaducts and sewers

"Okay so, apart from the scorpions and red bellied black snakes and box jellyfish and great white sharks and redbacks and sea wasps.... what has australlia ever done to kill us?"

If ever there was a landmass that gave a clearer indication that it doesn't want filthy humans anywhere near it, I'm pretty sure it would start raining fire in Australia just to keep the crown

That rock looks so lonely sitting there all by itself watching all the other rocks play in the distance.  Poor thing.
